The further filled your red bar is the more power your throw will have. The strength bar will start running consecutively. You have to click again to set the strength of your shot. You are given a certain number of shots in each level. The shots you don't take on one level are accumulated to the next ones. If the apple hits inside the basket too hard, it will probably bounce out. Use the map on the top left corner to guide your shot. Try to get the apple into the basket taking as few shots as possible so you'll get more chances on the harder levels.
